ABA sports and entertainment memorabilia auction site opens

January 27, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. AuctionCorp.com LLC has joined with the ABA to bring an incredible Auction Website that offers genuine sports and entertainment memorabilia for the world to bid on in auction format beginning Tuesday, February 1st.

According to Scott Templin, CEO of AuctionCorp, "Our company and the ABA are committed to providing the finest quality, unique and most desired memorabilia available from all over the world. The hottest memorabilia from national recording artist autographs, worldwide sports figures and television and motion picture film autographs plus special offers, promotional items, giveaways, event tickets and priceless one-of-a-kind items to be handed down from generation to generation will be available starting this week."

Chad Folkening of AuctionCorp.com stated, "The partnership between the ABA and Auctioncorp.com will create a valuable resource for sports enthusiasts to purchase memorabilia without the threat of receiving a fake or forged autograph. Everything up for bid on the website will be authentic. We realized the synergies and potential to offer an advanced platform for genuine and authentic sports memorabilia while assisting our local communities and non-profit organizations."

Joe Newman, ABA CEO, added, "The ABA intends to donate 100% of all proceeds it earns from the auction to its ABA Foundation, and use it for worthy causes including inner city youth programs, South Asia tsunami relief, Rwanda relief and other causes. The more memorabilia sold, the greater these funds will be. It's the primary reason we entered into this relationship. We are also pleased that AuctionCorp.com recognized the potential and has pledged to help support and assist in providing similar services for not-for-profit organizations and fund raisers."

And it all starts Tuesday, February 1st. For more information, call Scott Templin at 317 696 2643 or email scott@auctioncorp.com or visit www.abalive.com.
