
ABA returns to Philadelphia in 2008

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it will return to the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2008. "We are very pleased and proud to welcome Rev. Duane A. Quamina as the owner of the new Philadelphia Sounds," stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. "Rev. Quamina has a remarkable background and is the perfect person to lead this exciting organization. We picked this week to announce Philadelphia as we celebrate the 4th of July Independence Day/Week Celebration."
Rev. Quamina is a Preacher, Philosopher, Nonviolent Scientist, Social Architect, Minister, Writer, Statesman, Public Lecturer, Singer, Pastor. He has served as Chairman for the United Nations 50 Committee responsible for the Philadelphia, PA celebration commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations; has served as Executive Director for the United Churches for Christ headquartered in Camden, NJ; Served as the Chairman for the Camden City Summer Youth Development Program and is a published author with works including Anatomy of a Crucifixion and The Truth Will Set You Free.
He is presently President of KOH Associates, LLC, an organization that provides a vast array of professional services including consulting, engineering, architecture, construction management and whole building energy management. He is also President of the Nonviolent Leadership Academy, LLC which is an educational based institution that focuses on non-violent education whose curriculum includes "Project C.H.A.N.G.E", (Creating Healthy Alternative through Nonviolent Guidance and Education).
