ABA releases Power Rankings
December 2, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings for the week preceding the official start of the ABA season this weekend - and for the third straight week, the Nashville Broncs, with a 5-0 regular season record, maintained the top position. The Maywood Buzz moved to #2 based on a combination of pre-season and regular season wins with the Alaska Dream coming in a very close third. "This is the first week I've taken on the assignment of the Power Rankings," stated Burrel Lee III, ABA Director of West Coast Operations. "Fortunately, we had much more information to base the rankings on with pre-season games, regular season games and a look at the various rosters. This is anything but an exact science and after this weekend with the large number of games, we might see some dramatic shifting."
