ABA Radio Network gathers momentum
July 14, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. Joe Newman, ABA Co-Founder, today announced the first group of stations that will be part of the ABA Radio Network and will feature an ABA Game of the Week during the upcoming season starting in November. According to Newman, "Events Media International (EMI) is doing a spectacular job in lining up radio stations across the country to carry the ABA games. Keith Cameron and Gary Nice are finding stations very receptive to the idea. Our goal is to have the ABA Game of the Week broadcast every Saturday night at 7PM eastern and to cover games in all six divisions."
Newman added, "Our goal is to have hundreds of stations nationwide - so if any radio stations are looking for good Sat evening sports programming, please be sure to contact Keith Cameron at kcam32@earthlink.net or Gary Nice at gnice@talkone.com."

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
