A-League Conference Finals Set
September 7, 2004 - USL First Division (USL-1) News Release
TAMPA, FL â United Soccer Leagues announced today the schedule for the Conference Finals of the 2004 A-League Playoffs. Each series is a two-legged home-and-home series with action getting under way Friday, September 10 in Syracuse and Seattle.
The action kicks off Friday in the Eastern Conference when the Montreal Impact take on the Syracuse Salty Dogs at Syracuse's P&C Stadium at 7:30pm ET.
In the Western Conference, the Vancouver Whitecaps will travel to Seattle's Qwest Field (aka Seahawks Stadium) to face the Sounders Friday with a kick off time of 11:00pm ET (8:00pm PT).
The final leg of each series will take place on Sunday, with the Impact hosting the Salty Dogs at 4:00 pm ET and the Whitecaps hosting the Sounders at 10:00pm ET.
The Montreal-Syracuse second leg match will be shown LIVE on Fox Sports World Sunday.
The winners of the Conference Finals will meet in a single game championship match on Saturday, September 18th, with the site and time yet to be determined.
