Hammer Announce Resignalo as Head Coach

Huntington Hammer News Release
Josh Resignalo was named Head Coach of the Huntington Hammer Indoor Football Team. He comes to the Hammer Family from the Tulsa Talons of the Arena Football League. Head Coach of the Talons, Mitch Allner, and the long time AFL Player Personnel Director, Clayton Banner gave Coach Res some of the highest praise that Hammer General Manager, Steve Fickert had ever received. "We are extremely happy to land such a hard working coach and great individual," stated Fickert.
Coach Res is a US Marine Corp. combat veteran of two tours in Iraq. He was a Crew Chief of an amphibious armoured assault vehicle during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003, and was a Squad Leader during combat operations in Falujah, Iraq.
As for his football experience, Coach Resignalo played quarterback for 13 seasons, including time with the Raleigh Rebels of the AIFL as well as the Carolina Speed and Florence Phantoms of the AIFA. Coach Res also has 8 years of coaching experience and most recently has served as the Passing Game Coordinator and Quarterback coach in Greensboro, NC. Coach Res also assists with and operates the Tulsa Talons Free Agent Mini Camps across the United States.
Head Coach Josh Resignalo is from Greensboro, North Carolina. He and his wife Angela have a daughter Shaelyn, who is about to turn six years old. When he arrived in Huntington for the first time, he had this to say, "I am excited to be here in Huntington, and to be a part of the Hammer organization. I look forward to a very successful season, especially here at home."
