KENNESAW, GA (January 11, 2010 ) - The Atlanta Beat of Women's Professional Soccer today announced that defenders Keeley Dowling and Katherine Reynolds have agreed to terms for the 2011 season.

Dowling was a top 10 pick for Sky Blue FC (NY/NJ) in the 2009 WPS General Draft, and she spent two seasons with the New Jersey-based club. In that time, she combined for 36 starts in 39 games and co-captained the 2010 team.

"Keeley is an amazing athlete with a lot of potential," said Beat head coach James Galanis. "I think she is going to bring a lot of fight to our defensive game."

She was a four-year starter at the University of Tennessee and was twice named South Eastern Conference Defender of the Year (2003, 2004). She earned NSCAA All-America Honors in 2002 and 2003.

"I think its going to be a great year with the Beat," said Dowling. "I'm looking forward to a great season and working hard to win a championship."
