Fayetteville Guard To Host Wyoming Cavalry In Indoor Football Championship Bowl

CASPER, WYOMING - The Wyoming Cavalry and the Fayetteville Guard, two professional indoor football organizations, will compete in an "Indoor Football Championship Bowl" in Fayetteville, NC on July 14, 2007 - 7 pm Eastern at the Crown Coliseum.

The game will be televised LIVE in Casper, Riverton, Lander, Thermopolis, Worland, Glenrock, Douglas, Midwest, Edgerton, and other stations that carry the KFNB Fox Station - cable channel 9, off-air channel 20. Game will be broadcast tape-delayed in Fayetteville on July 15.

Media, sponsors and fans are invited to meet the players from both teams Friday night.

"It's going to be a great game," promises Fayetteville owner, Richard King. "Our two teams have superior athletes. Our players and coaches are all looking forward to meeting the best team from the West."

The Fayetteville Guard and the Wyoming Cavalry each have a long and successful history in the professional indoor football business.

"We are looking forward to traveling to Fayetteville to play the Guard," says Cavalry General Manager, Mike Layton. "They are a stand-up organization, both on and off the field, and we appreciate that."

"As is true with the Cavalry," says King. "We are looking forward to ending this season with the bang and we're glad the Cavalry will be a part of it."

Cavalry host the Utah Sting of the Utah Indoor Football League on July 4 at the Casper Events Center - last home game of the season. "Honor our Heroes' is the theme. Doors open at 5 pm, kick-off is set for 6 pm.
