
60 senior All-Americans selected in "Quest 4 Best Draft"

PALM HARBOR, FL --- With 60 outstanding USA College Football All-Americans selected over six rounds of the "Quest 4 Best Draft" held March 10, the 10 franchises of the X-League Indoor Football added quality depth to their pre-season camps as the teams prepare to open the XLIF regular season on March 28, 2015.
Each franchise began the draft making a territorial draft of a player from a college within its state borders. The next four rounds offered choices of the 95 senior standouts who participated in the 2015 USA College Football Bowl on the MLK National Holiday in Jackson, MS and the final selection was a provisional pick from the 2014 USA College Football All-American teams at four levels (FCS - Division II - Division III - NAIA). "The X-League and it's team owners are blessed to participate in this years draft."said Michael Mink, Commissioner "We are also excited about our future partnership with the USA College Football and the future of these All-American college players."said Mink
Myles McKee, a quarterback from Alabama-Birmingham was chosen by the Alabama Outlawz. McKee will be the last student/athlete picked in a pro football draft from UAB as the school has dropped its football program.
Cody Buresh, an American Football Coaches Association Division III All-American linebacker from Wabash College, was picked by the Bloomington (IL) Edge and the Cape Fear (NC) Heroes made place-kicker Antonio Mayo of Fayetteville State the third player selected. With the fourth choice, the Corpus Christi Sole chose McMurry wide-receiver Jeret Smith and the Florida Marine Raiders located in Lakeland, FL tabbed local high school graduate Jared Haggins, Florida State's wide-receiver who excelled in the USA College Football Bowl, with the next selection. Next up, the Florida Tarpons chose Edward Waters College defensive back Kameron Mitchell before the Georgia Rampage selected Savannah State defensive back Robert Smith. With eight pick of the first round, the Marian (OH) Blue Racers picked the 2014 London Fletcher Division III Linebacker of the Year, Mount Union's Cody Pogorelc of the University of Mount Union. The 2014 Clyde "Bulldog" Turner Division III Offensive Lineman of the Year, Conner Cox of Trinity University (TX) was taken by the Rio Grande Valley (TX) Sol with the ninth selection and the final pick of the opening round was offensive lineman Austin Ausbury of Evangel University (MO) was chose by the Saint Louis Attack.
