2023 Prospect League Schedule Announced

ELKVILLE, Ill. - The Prospect League, home to elite collegiate baseball players from across the country, released its 2023 game schedule Monday. Each team will play a 58-game regular-season in the summer collegiate wood-bat league, opening Wednesday, May 31.
The Prospect League schedule is designed to give players a taste of what it's like to play in the minor leagues - a tightly-packed schedule with 58 games in 67 days, chartered bus travel, hotel stays on the road, playing in high-quality venues with large, enthusiastic crowds truly gives a professional experience.
The 2023 season features 17 teams from seven states (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee). For the upcoming season, the league welcomes the Jackson Rockabillys and the soon-to-be-named team in Marion, Ill., as new members. The West Virginia Miners will be dormant for the 2023 season.
For the purposes of playoffs, Prospect League teams are divided into two conferences, each with two divisions:

The 2023 season, as it has in the past, features split-season play, with division winners at the end of the first half of the season advancing to a one-game divisional championship against the same division's second-half winner. Divisional champions then move on to play a one-game conference championship. Conference champions advance to play one another in the best-of-three Prospect League Championship Series to wrap up the season. The first half will end with the conclusion of games on July 1.
Individual teams will be releasing their schedules through their own websites and social media channels in the immediate future.
