NORWICH, CT - The New York-Penn League and the Connecticut Tigers have released the 2011 schedule. The league begins play on June 17, while the Tigers open at Dodd Stadium on Mon, June 20 against the defending New York-Penn League champions, the Tri-City ValleyCats (Astros affiliate).
The fun continues all summer long as the Tigers face off against the Lowell Spinners (Red Sox), Staten Island Yankees (Yankees), and Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) and other notable New York-Penn League franchises.
Become a member of the Tigers family by becoming a Tigers Season Ticket holder. You will receive your Season Tickets in advance at a significant savings. More importantly, you are guaranteed the same seats for all 38 home games! Premium Box seats for all 38 home games are $325 per seat and Reserved Box Seats are $250 per seat, in addition to the extra season ticket holder benefits.
The Tigers will play five Friday night games during the summer of 2011, as well as seven Saturdays and seven Sundays. Some notable series include July 2 - July 3 against the Lowell Spinners; July 9 -July 11 against the Brooklyn Cyclones; August 17 - August 19 against the Staten Island Yankees; and September 2 - September 4 against the Lowell Spinners. Expect the 2011 season to be jam packed with family fun!
