2010 National Lacrosse League Championship Game To Air On Versus

The National Lacrosse League announced today that VERSUS, the fastest growing sports cable network in the country, will air the 2010 NLL Championship Game, presented by Reebok, on Sunday, May 16, at 2 p.m. ET.

The game will feature the champions of the Eastern and Western Divisions, in a one-game, winner-take-all final. Eight teams have advanced to the NLL Playoffs, which begin with the four Divisional Semifinal Playoff Games on May 1. All NLL playoff games are single-game elimination. The NLL plays professional indoor lacrosse, and the 2010 season marks the league's 24th season of play.

"The NLL features the world's best lacrosse players and we are pleased to have VERSUS telecast the NLL Championship Game and present our dynamic sport to a national audience," said NLL Commissioner George Daniel.
