
2009 AFL free agency begins October 15

NEW YORK - The free agency signing period for the upcoming 2009 AFL season will begin on October 15, the League announced today.
Teams will be allowed to contact free agents on Wednesday, October 1, with signing to begin on Wednesday, October 15. There are currently 171 AFL players available for free agency.
The exclusive period for teams to re-sign their own free agents ended on August 10.
