
2008 USL-2 Playoffs: Stars to Host on Wednesday

With the City Stars' victory over the Charlotte Eagles last week, Cleveland has clinched a home match in the first round of the USL-2 Playoffs. The City Stars will host either the fifth or sixth place team on Wednesday August 13th starting at 7 p.m.
Harrisburg currently sits in fifth place heading into the final weekend with Western Mass, Wilmington, Pittsburgh and Crystal Palace Baltimore all alive in the hunt for the final playoff spot.
Tickets for the match will go on sale today on ClevelandCityStars.com with prices running $12 for youth tickets, $15 for regular admission and $25 for VIP access.
Tickets will also be available at all Cleveland area Winking Lizard locations. Through this special offer, the Winking Lizard locations in Coventry, Independence, Macedonia, Lakewood and Downtown Cleveland are all acting as City Stars ticket outlets leading up to the playoffs. Simply stop by your favorite Winking Lizard and pick up your tickets while enjoying the great food and atmosphere.
It has been a great season so far but the real fun has yet to begin. Don't miss any of the action as the City Stars are poised to make a magical run through the USL-2 Playoffs with the mission of bringing a championship to the city of Cleveland.
