First Inning Runs Hold up as Ducks Take Series

(New Britain, Conn.) - The Long Island Ducks defeated the New Britain Bees 3-1 on Thursday night in the finale of a three-game series at New Britain Stadium. The Ducks used a two-out, three-run rally in the first inning against Bees starter Andy Van Hekken for all the offense they would need.
