Monarchs' Brentz, Former Royal, Signs with Cubs

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A former Royal is heading from the Kansas City Monarchs back to affiliated ball. Lefty pitcher Jake Brentz has signed with the Chicago Cubs organization, the Monarchs announced Thursday.
