WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Wednesday that they signed defenseman Giffen Nyren for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot, 195-pound blueliner posted 45 points in 50 games with the University of Calgary and has also seen action in 29 ECHL contests with the Utah Grizzlies, collecting 10 points and 57 penalty minutes during the 2010-11 season.
