CORPUS CHRISTI - Renato Nunez and Ryon Healy had three hits each and Bruce Maxwell drove in three runs as Midland tripped Corpus Christi 9-5 Monday at Whataburger Field before 8,001. Early fireworks gave left-hander Dillon Overton (2-1) plenty to work with. The former Oklahoma Sooner logged five innings before turning the game over to Andres Avila.
