Iowa Wild Signs Forward Matt Carey to AHL Contract

DES MOINES, IA -The Iowa Wild on Monday announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed forward Matt Carey to an AHL Standard Player Contract (SPC) for the 2015-16 season. Carey, 23 (2/28/92), joins the Wild after spending the 2014-15 season with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs. The rookie forward scored ten goals and added 11 assists for 21 points in 67 games played.
