Marion, IL - The Southern Illinois Miners lost their third straight game when a passed ball with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning led to the winning run in a 5-4 loss to the Florence Y'alls. Andres Rios opened the scoring with a solo home run leading off the bottom of the third against Jake Fisher, and Florence would plate another run later in the inning on a sacrifice fly by Luis Pintor to make it 2-0.
