Afanasyev Signs Entry-Level Deal with Predators

(Windsor, ON) - Egor Afanasyev has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Nashville Predators. Afanasyev was selected by the Predators in the second round (45th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft. The 18-year-old from Tver, Russia was acquired by the Spitfires in the trade that sent Mikey DiPietro to the Ottawa 67s back in December, 2018.
