Somerset Patriots Welcome Back LHP Roy Merritt

Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots have announced the return of left-handed pitcher Roy Merritt. Merritt rejoins the Patriots after spending the beginning of the 2019 season with the Sugar Land Skeeters. The former 29th round pick of the 2007 MLB Amateur draft has been effective for the Skeeters in his 11 appearances, going 2-3 with a 3.70 ERA in 56 innings of work.
