Visiting Birmingham for the only time all season, the Mayhem fell by a 2-0 final to the undefeated Bulls.
After generating the first two shots on goal, the Mayhem took a nosedive in that department and conceded 11 straight shots in the first period. On a Birmingham power play, Taylor Dickin redirected a Justin Larson slap shot from above the left circle past Jordan Ruby to open the scoring for the Bulls.
