Luis Rengifo Named Southern League Player of Month for June

MOBILE, Ala. - Infielder Luis Rengifo from the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, has been named Southern League Player of the Month for June. Rengifo, 21, posted a .351 batting average (33-for-94) with a .470 on-base percentage. He led the BayBears with 10 stolen bases, 17 walks, and 27 runs scored.
