Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs picked up eight hits but managed only one run in a 5-1 loss to the Columbus Clippers on Sunday afternoon at NBT Bank Stadium. The Chiefs left seven runners on base and went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Bengie Gonzalez posted three hits for Syracuse in the game.
