Wichita, Kansas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Wichita Thunder on Tuesday night at Intrust Bank Arena. A scoreless opening period tested both goalies. Jake Paterson faced more quality scoring chances in that opening period, denying Wichita on all ten shots he faced.
