The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Everett Silvertips 3-2 in a shootout on Friday night in Washington. The Rockets opened the scoring 1:22 into the first period as Reid Gardiner tipped a Lucas Johansen point shot past Tips netminder Carter Hart to put the Rockets up by one.
