Seattle opened the scoring as Ryan Gropp scored his first of three on the night. He got the Thunderbirds up 2-0 and that score remained into the second period. Seattle scored 3:32 into the second period on the power play to take a three goal lead. Dillon Dube was awarded a penalty shot and made a nice move to get the Rockets on the board.
