CHARLOTTE - In the midst of a record 24-game hitting streak with Double-A Altoona, Austin Meadows has been promoted to join the Indianapolis Indians. The move was made official on Saturday by Pirates officials. Meadows is the No. 2 prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and No. 22 overall in baseball, according to Baseball America.
