SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire has signed kicker Steven Wakefield to their 2016 IFL roster. Wakefield (K, 5-11, 180, Mercyhurst) joins the Empire for his rookie season as a member of the Indoor Football League. Steven spent the first eight weeks of the 2016 season with the Tri-Cities Fever where he played in six games and converted on 18-of-27 (66 percent) point-after-attempts and ten of his 27 field goal attempts.
