Allen, TEXAS - With the regular season behind us, the Allen Americans began their quest for four straight championships on Thursday night. The Allen Event Center was the site of Game 1 between the Americans and the Idaho Steelheads. Idaho took the upper-hand in the series, winning 3-1. With Jake Hildebrand starting in net for Allen, it was a stroke of misfortune that broke the ice, as Idaho found the net off of an own goal.... Full Story
