Goatheads Receive Defensemen Hank Kempf and Saige Weinstein from Colorado Eagles

ECHL New Mexico Goatheads October 8, 2026 - RIO RANCHO, N.M. - The New Mexico Goatheads, proud affiliates of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and AHL's Colorado Eagles, announced today that defensemen Hank Kempf and Saige Weinstein have been assigned to the team by the Colorado Eagles. Kempf, 24, was selected by the New York Rangers in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. ECHL New Mexico Goatheads September 30, 2026 - The New Mexico Goatheads will receive six players from the Colorado Eagles, the team's AHL affiliate, ahead of the inaugural 2026-27 season.
