Syracuse Crunch Rally Past Rochester Americans, 3-2, in Shootout
January 19, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch rallied past the Rochester Americans, 3-2, in a shootout this afternoon at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
After Conor Geekie opened scoring for the Crunch in the first period, the Amerks had a two-goal second period to take the lead before Jakob Pelletier scored the equalizer late in the final frame to send the game to overtime. January 19, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch and Kinney Drugs are teaming up to provide one fan a chance to win a trip to Tampa.

Syracuse Crunch Loan Forward Spencer Kersten to Orlando Solar Bears
January 18, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have loaned forward Spencer Kersten to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL, General Manager and Head Coach Joel Bouchard announced today. Additionally, the Crunch have released goaltender Jon Gillies from his PTO.

Tampa Bay Lightning Reassign Goaltender Brandon Halverson to Syracuse Crunch
January 18, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned goaltender Brandon Halverson to the Syracuse Crunch today, Vice President and General Manager Julien BriseBois announced.
Halverson, 29, has appeared in 20 games for the Crunch this season and owns a 12-6-2 record with a 2.42 goals-against average and an .899 save percentage. Halverson has recorded three shutouts this season, tied for the second-most among all AHL goaltenders. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound netminder registered a five-game win...
