The Syracuse Crunch grabbed a win in the final game of Week 14 to salvage a pair of points.
The Crunch lost their first two games of the week. They dropped a 3-2 home game on Wednesday against the Rochester Americans and then were shut out, 3-0, on the road against the Utica Comets on Friday. The Crunch overcame an early 2-0 deficit against the Laval Rocket on Saturday to score a 3-2 win to close out the week.

January 12, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Tampa Bay Lightning have assigned forward Curtis Douglas to the Syracuse Crunch for conditioning purposes, Vice President and General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Douglas, 25, has skated in 27 games with the Lightning this season, recording two assists with a plus-1 rating. His 75 penalty minutes are the most among all Bolts players. Syracuse Crunch Rally Past Laval Rocket, 3-2
January 10, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch rallied past the Laval Rocket, 3-2, tonight at the Upstate Medical University Arena.
After giving up the first two goals early in the game, the Crunch scored three unanswered to climb back and take the victory. The win snaps a two-game skid and advances the Crunch to 19-13-2-1 on the season. The team is now 2-1-0-1 in the eight-game season series against the Rocket.

Crunch Blanked by Comets, 3-0
January 9, 2026 - SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch were shut out by the Utica Comets, 3-0, tonight at the Adirondack Bank Center.
The Crunch move to 18-13-2-1 on the season and 5-2-0-0 in the 12-game seasons series with the Comets.
Crunch goaltender Ryan Fanti turned aside 10-of-12 shots in net. Jakub Málek earned the win putting a stop to all 15 shots he faced for the Comets. The Syracuse power play was held scoreless on two opportunities while Utica converted on 1-of-4 man advantages.
