Giants Set 2026 Flying Squirrels Coaching Staff
January 15, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - Dennis Pelfrey will return to manage the Richmond Flying Squirrels for a fifth season in 2026, the team announced on Thursday, continuing the longest managerial tenure in franchise history.
Other returning members of the Flying Squirrels coaching staff include pitching coach Paul Oseguera, fundamentals coach Lipso Nava, athletic trainer Tim Vigue and strength & conditioning coach Michelle Kuda. January 14, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers have signed attacker Tyler Freeman ahead of the 2026 season, the club announced Wednesday. The Overland Park, Kansas native brings experience across MLS, USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, and international youth competition.

January 13, 2026 - RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers have signed veteran defender Sean Vinberg, the club announced Tuesday. A native of Long Island, New York, Vinberg makes his way to Richmond with nearly 10 years of professional experience across both the USL and multiple leagues internationally.
