Mohawks season ends as runner up in PGCBL

August 8, 2018 - The Amsterdam Mohawks season ended last night at Shuttleworth Park with an 8-6 loss to the Jamestown Jammers in game 3 of the PGCBL finals. A quick start for the Mohawks would not be enough to hold off the Jammers from winning their first title after finishing as the runner up last year. Chase Keng (UTSA) was the star of the night for the Jammers as he hit the go ahead home run, going 1 for 4 with 3 RBI and a run scored. August 7, 2018 - The Amsterdam Mohawks refused to end their season getting swept, forcing a game 3 after they beat the Jamestown Jammers 5-4. The Mohawks gave it everything they had, continuously pressing before breaking through in the 7 th inning. The Mohawks were eventually rewarded with the win. Jamestown Jammers Walk-Off to Game 1 Victory in PGCBL Championship Series

August 6, 2018 - In a best-of-3-series to settle the PGCBL Championship, the Jamestown Jammers took game 1 over the Amsterdam Mohawks by a final score of 4-3. It was the Mohawks that jumped out to an early lead, hitting back to back home runs before Jamestown lawed back with 3 of their own. Shane Muntz stars as Mohawks take Game 1 in PGCBL Semifinals

August 2, 2018 - The Amsterdam Mohawks won the first game of the PGCBL semifinals at Shuttleworth Park Thursday night, by a score of 7-5 over the Watertown Rapids. This was a tight affair for the first half of the game, as the starters Shane Muntz (Wake Forest) for Amsterdam and Tyler Waldrop (Wayne St) for Watertown dueled.
