Salem-Keizer roughed up the Hillsboro Hops for seven runs through two innings of play Monday night, defeating the Hops 9-2 at Ron Tonkin Field. Hops starter Cody Reed (4-2, 2.85 ERA) entered the game with a sparkling 4-1 record and a 1.37 ERA - the best mark in the Northwest League.
