Player Opp: Pro Basketball Exposure Tour (Dominican Republic) Tryout - April 20, 2014

Post by SugarBear »

Hello All,

I am passing along some info for a good friend of mine. He runs a great program out of NJ - North Jersey Pros (http://www.NJ-Pros.com). He does a tremendous amount of charity work for our community, our youth, and getting his/and other league players real opportunities to play professional ball internationally.

If you know of any true "legit" players looking for an opportunity, please have them take a look.

Thanks

SugarBear

2014 EXPOSURE TOUR #1 TRYOUTS
Sunday - April 20, 2014

The North Jersey Pros professional basketball organization is extremely honored and proud to announce that they have reached a working agreement with Reales de La Vega of the Dominican Republic's premier professional basketball league, Liga Nacional de Baloncesto.

On May 2 - 5, 2014, the North Jersey Pros - Select Team will travel to the Dominican Republic and have the opportunity to showcase their skills against some of the country's top players. All players will be evaluated by the team's coaches, team owners, league's top scouts, as well as scouts from other leagues.

Players will have the opportunity to earn a pro contract on the spot. For any player signed from the tour, please be advised that the LNB season begins on May 8, 2014, and you would be required to begin practice immediately, so please pack and plan accordingly.

The primary goal of the Exposure Tour is to provide elite players with a real opportunity to continue their basketball careers on a professional level. In just 4 seasons, the North Jersey Pros organization has had a total of 17 players further their professional international basketball careers in Chile, Canada, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Africa. FIVE NORTH JERSEY PROS PLAYERS HAVE SIGNED PRO CONTRACTS WITH TEAMS IN THE LNB!

The North Jersey Pros organization is also extremely proud to mention that the team's first head coach, Matt Riccardi, is now the Basketball Operations Manager for the Brooklyn Nets.

"As a professional international player myself, I understand just how rare and important opportunities like this can be for players.", stated Christian Villar, North Jersey Pros owner and player. "Reales de La Vega plays in the LNB, the premier league of the Dominican Republic, and it's a real honor to be working with them on this tour and other upcoming tours. They are wonderful people and true professionals in every sense of the word. The league's level of play easily rivals the NBA D-League. Therefore, we are looking for players that believe that they can compete on such a high level."

We are searching for NBA D-league caliber players! You must be able to compete at a high level in all areas of your game: Ball handling, Rebounding, Conditioning, Scoring, Hustling, Intensity, etc.

To sign a professional basketball contract you will be expected to be a completely versed and well-rounded player.

If you believe you possess the proper skills, attitude, discipline and a high degree of professionalism, both on and off the court, we would like to see what you've got.
