If anyone from these forums was at the games, I would hope that they include the numbers with their game summaries. I'm not going to contact teams to find out.

TJ is a member of the media. I would assume if you're that concerned about turn outs, you would want something accurate rather than a fans best guess.

Minot's crowd those terribly cold first two nights was around 850. Game 1 vs. KC was seen by about 1100 fans and Game 2 had around 1300 in attendance. Not what we're used to seeing in Minot but not bad considering some of the factors already covered on this board. Pay-at-the-gate sales have been decent if not better than average actually..... an inverse, unintended result probably of a late/unorganized season ticket sales effort on the part of Minot's ''staff''. The crowd of 1300 for Saturday's game had the energy and feel of the Minot crowds from years past. I'm guessing this weekend's games will be similiar and that's due to the Skyrockets finally being back in the public eye a bit and that the local buzz is that the entertainment factor is still delivered gamenights at the Launch Pad...... perhaps a little watered-down but still a value compared to local college ball, college hockey or area high school sports.

You have to be kidding me, ot! It's a lot easier for me to get the turnout figures on here, than it is for me to make a long distance call to some paper just to see if they know what the turnout was(which I'm not about to do)!

Removed by moderator--Part of post that was deleted.
btw, the Patroons next game I had said was against a CBA opponent, which I took from an article in the Albany paper. In fact, according to an article about the Jersey Express in the NJ paper, the Express play the Patroons on Sunday.

So....don't make a long distance call....click on the e-mail address provided and ask a simple question: What was the attendance of the CBA games?
Most likely he would respond when he received the e-mail! voila!

Ten, you're missing the point! Why should I have to contact the team at all?? I never had to in the past, I should not have to now. Posters who go to the games, should provide it, if available(imo).

FreezinUpHere gave you estimates. No official numbers have been announced to my knowledge. Satisfied?

That's a lot of responsibility for somebody who is going to the game to enjoy themselves...Have a beer or three....they might start seeing double when they are counting the house and they might end up with 5000 fans in the house!
