The Chico Enterprise-Record is reporting that Mike Marshall and his wife are done with the Chico Outlaws.
"With everything up in the air, it's not fair to Mike or Mary to keep them in Chico and running the team when we don't know for sure what's going to happen with the stadium, first and foremost," Outcalt said.
Marshall out, Chico disappearing?
Chico gone?
It sounds like Chico is done. Since Outcalt and the NAL own the team, I think they are planning to move the team elsewhere for next season.Likely some small town with a small ballpark, like they did with San Rafael. The NAL probably feels Nettleton is too expensive to lease.
That leaves Yuma and Edmonton plus the ULB teams. Yuma could join the ULB. I feel bad for the Edmonton team.
