I was confused at first by the score when I was writing a quick recap to the game until I realized that they were playing under the Multi-Point format.

The California Heatwaves officially closes shop. I tried covering this team when they were in Sacramento but their schedule was so wonky I gave up.

Sacramento Republic is in the second round of the USL Pro Championship playoffs and if they win against the L.A. Galaxy II will get the chance to host the championship game.

I'm used to the 1pt per goal system. It's crazy that a team would drop out of the league over the point scoring. How did the 2 and 3 point system work anyways?

The team so far has sold out almost all of their home games at the new pitch and has hosted three friendlies, two with West Bromwich Albion F.C. and one with the Rangers F.C. Bonney Field has a capacity of 8,000.
