The Howlers benefitted from one of their best pitching days of the year, allowing only two hits between starter Nelson Keljo along with relievers Luke Fernandez and Jervis Alfaro.

April 28, 2026 - Hill City had a banner day Tuesday, scoring its most runs in any game this year with a 17-1 drubbing of the Delmarva Shorebirds in Salisbury.
Everyone that came to bat got a hit in the game, with Robert Arias staying hot and leading the pack with three hits, including a double to extend his hit streak to 11 games. His three hits were part of the 15 the Howlers managed in the game.

April 27, 2026 - The Hill City Howlers swept the Carolina League Weekly Awards behind outstanding performances from Anthony Martinez and Harrison Bodendorf.
This was the first time any member of the Howlers has won a weekly award this season. In addition, they are the only members of the Cleveland Guardians organization to win awards this week. Milan Tolentino is the only other member of a Guardians-affiliate to win a weekly award this season, taking home the International League Player of the Week Award for his performance from April 13-... April 26, 2026 - In unprecedented fashion, the Hill City Howlers walked off the Hickory Crawdads on Sunday afternoon, winning 9-8 in 11 innings.
Only the first run of the game for the Howlers was attributed to a hit. The rest of the runs scored in the comeback victory came from walks, hit-batters, wild pitches, and a sacrifice fly. Hill City trailed by as many as seven runs before completing their improbable comeback.
