July 7, 2013 - CHARLOTTETOWN - The Summerside Storm is announcing that the team signed a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday with the Charlottetown Civic Center to play there beginning in the 2013-14 season. "Our first responsibility as owners is to put the business in a position to succeed and sustain itself," said co-owner Duncan Shaw. Storm Kids Announces First Fundraising Project

June 27, 2013 - A beautiful 3,000 square foot home is currently being built in the Kinlock Creek subdivision in Stratford, PEI. The Dream Home will be finished in August, 2013, and tickets will go on sale upon completion of the house. Tickets will cost $125/each, or 3 for $300. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to four Prince Edward Island youth-oriented charities: KidSport PEI, Easter Seals of PEI, the Pediatric Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and the Maternal Child Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital. April 19, 2013 - (Summerside, PE) When Summerside STORM Owners Duncan Shaw and Darren MacKay decided to invest in an NBL Pro Basketball team two years ago for Prince Edward Island, one of the goals for them and their families was to use the pro sports franchise in helping raise needed funds for various groups and charities across the Island.
