Wolfpack Hold Dance Team Tryouts
March 15, 2010 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL)
Wisconsin Wolfpack News Release
The Pepsi Max Wild Things, the dance team for the Wisconsin Wolfpack professional indoor football team, will hold open auditions for dancers on Friday, March 19, 2010, at 7 p.m. The audition will be held at the Coliseum Bar (232 East Olin Avenue) in Madison, Wis. There is a $20 tryout fee which will be refunded to the participant if they are selected for the Pepsi Max Wild Things dance team.
Each young lady must be at least 18 years old by the March 19 audition date to participate. There is no other age limit. Formal dance and/or cheerleader experience is not mandatory but extremely helpful. A Pepsi Max Wild Thing dancer is obligated to participate in all six home games as well as various events throughout the season.
Dancers will be judged on a variety of criteria including choreography, teamwork, public relations, professionalism, fitness, athleticism, and much more.
Former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Tyler Donovan will be a special guest judge at the tryout. Donovan led the Badgers to a 10-plus win season in 2007. During that season, he passed for 2,607 yards and 17 touchdowns for a 134.0 passer rating. He also rushed for 277 yards and five touchdowns. He was recently invited to training camp with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
