Wolfe resigns as Maniacs GM

Pasadena, MD (November, 15 2008) - John Wolfe has resigned as General Manager of the Maryland Maniacs, a member of the Indoor Football League (IFL). Wolfe, who was named G.M. of the Maniacs in September, held the same position with the Chesapeake Tide of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) and served as the G.M., and later Vice President of Operations with the Baltimore Blackbirds of the American Indoor Football Association (AIFA),

As an employee of the U.S. Department of Defense, Wolfe has over 20 years of varied experience in acquisition, finance, human resources, project management, retail and ticket sales, and has over 11 years of management experience. He also owned and operated his own retail and wholesale sports apparel, collectibles, and memorabilia business for nine years. Wolfe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is scheduled to complete his Masters of Business Administration in the fall of 2008.

"I appreciate the opportunity the Maniacs' ownership group provided me and I wish them well," stated Wolfe, "There were just differences of opinion on how an organization should be run and I am used to having far more authority and responsibility."
