Tucson Thunder Kats News Release
The Tucson Thunder Kats have joined the AIFA and will play their inaugural game starting in the 2011, 5th season of the AIFA. The Mission of the AIFA is to provide fast paced, fan-friendly professional football at affordable prices. All games will be played at the Tucson Convention Center, with ticket prices starting at $8.00 per person.
"The support we have received from the Tucson community has been incredible" stated Brad Corneliusen, Thunder Kats Chief Operating Officer. "The level of excitement and enthusiasm from the residents of southern Arizona has been very high. We are committed to creating a community and family oriented team."
The head coach for the Tucson Thunder Kats will be announced at a press conference being held on Tuesday September 28th.
Player tryouts will be held October 16th. Dance team tryouts will be held October 23rd.
