
Stars fall to Rage

The RiverCity Rage used a second half offensive blitz to win their 5th game of the season and maintain the teams lead in the Atlantic North Division of the National Indoor Football League.
The Rage scored 62 second half points and defeated the Arkansas stars 76-46 at Savvis Center on Friday Night. Reserve Quarter back Anthony Fisher starting for the injured Clay Groefsema threw for 3 touchdown passes, Sha-ron Edwards ran for 2 touchdowns and caught a pass from Fisher for another score. The Rage led 14-12 at the half, and overpowered the Arkansas defense scoring 4 touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and improved 5-1 on the 2006 season.
Reserve Quarter back Justin Perry also threw 2 fourth quarter touchdown passes one each to Moses Regular and Corey Bethany. Arkansas playing its fourth road game in as many weeks fell to 2 and 4 on the season.
Former Arkansas Razor Back's running star Chrys Chuckwuma was the bright spot for the Stars scoring on touchdown runs of 5 yards and 3 yards in the third quarter.
