Stars announce open tryouts for 2006 season

The Arkansas Stars will be holding free agent workouts on February 4. 2006 at Lake Country Soccer. The Stars is a new expansion team in there first season in the National Indoor Football League, and will continue to play at Randall Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville Arkansas. The season runs from March through August.

There will be a registration fee for player workouts. Cost will be $50, cash or money order, at the door.

Workouts will be held at Lake Country Soccer, in Springfield, Missouri and will be broken down into several testing areas. Registration will run from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, testing will begin at 2:00pm with players being tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard short shuttle, vertical jump, broad jump and bench press (225lbs).
