
Skyforce Acquire Stephen Croone

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they have claimed Stephen Croone off of waivers. Croone, a 6-1, 170-pound guard from Furman University will have his first opportunity to suite up on Tuesday, February 14 in a game against the Iowa Energy at 6:30 PM at the Sanford Pentagon.
In four seasons at Furman, Croone averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 122 career games (118 starts). Croone averaged over 17 points per game in his final three seasons, including a career-high 19.1 points per game during his sophomore season.
Croone was awarded NABC All-District First Team, SoCon Player of the Year (Coaches), SoCon Player of the Year (Media), All-SoCon Team (Coaches), and All-SoCon First Team (Media) following his senior season in 2016. After being undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Croone will be making his professional debut as he joins the Skyforce.
