Raptors GM Runs For Office

ROCKFORD - The Rock River Raptors General Manager, Dave DeSanti, announced today he is running for the office of Village Trustee, District 1, in Machesney Park.

"I felt it was a good time to get involved with the community", DeSanti said. "Machesney Park is a growing community with a lot of great things going on". Continuing to fix the roads through the Build Machesney program and keeping the No Village Property Tax policy in place are just a couple of things high on DeSanti's priority list.

DeSanti will be hosting a fundraiser at Rascals Bar and Grill this Sunday, March 1st, from 2 to 5 PM and would like to invite everybody to attend. A $20 donation will be collected at the door an appetizer buffet will be served along with a cash bar. Door prizes and 50/50 drawings will be held through-out the day.
