Lakeland Raiders News Release
LAKELAND, FL- The Lakeland Raiders have are currently 4-2 with a tight hold on the playoffs. With the two losses by close margins, the Raiders currently hold a tie breaker over the Tarpons and still have a home rematch with the Corpus Christi Fury which will determine the big picture for the playoffs. The Raiders are also proud to announce that Quarterback Bj Hall has been signed by the Orlando Predators. Bj helped the team with victories over the Rampage and the Tarpons. He was currently taking some time off due to a death in his family and also a death from a friend over the last few weeks. He was in attendance on Saturday against the Thunder and was getting ready to suit up for the Vipers next week. Saturday night, he received numerous amounts of calls from Arena teams having interest in his skills and leadership.
After many conversations with his family, it was in his best interest to take one of those opportunities and he felt that going to Orlando was his best one.
Orlando has a very stout roster and great coaching and Bj looks to come in and make an immediate impact. He is also being re-united with former teammates and close friends Prechae Rodriguez and Amarri Jackson . The Raiders want to wish Bj the best of luck and we hope he helps turn around the Predators season into a winning one as he did for the Raiders.
The Raiders next home game is on Sunday April 28th for Family and Faith night against the Chatahoochie Valley Vipers with a kick off at 300pm. The Raiders will continue at home on May 4th (Saturday) against the Corpus Christi Fury and again on May 18th (Saturday) against the Missouri Monsters.
